Tonight I told an old friend in Florida who for nearly six months had no contact with me and meant it,

Half past midnight had a dozed briefly,

The dam thing rang again,

It was an older lesbian friend in Arizona,

I let it ring,

Today a customer called me Mister,

That pissed me off,

Is that what they are taught anyway with a business is male?

That pisses me off as much as those that still teach women short hair is wrong!

As a country are we still a nation where norms are the only way to be?

I discovered recently when adopted family became homeless dad was right Americans by the US Government values less then what the world presumes America represents.

We need to be a nation more interested in Americans then who ever comes to our door,

We are not as good as our propaganda,

And until those in government love there job well enough to not become millionaurs like Grassely in office are willing to give up their homes for hardworking people like Penny and stop being soft on traders and guns maybe our constition needs a face-lift,

Our medical program next to Britians and workers programs is still lackluster,

Government housing what there is of it sucks,

It’s an institution that assumes poor people are less intelligent then wealthy,

Penny whom I speak of,

December twenty-seventh half of her kitchen ceiling fell in,

The Great migration was her animals coming to stay with me,

Penny for three weeks has been at the Oelwein, Iowa,Motel at three hundred a week in the off season of a non popular old few rooms rented beat up hotel with literately no amenities,

Penny tried to get into where her eughty-seven year old mom is at right across from her home,

She tried to get a furnace from Threshold she has had no furnace in the 120 year old home for two years,

Every month she pays most of her Take home pay to creepy Alliance Energy,

Penny works 7-3am Waterloo,Iowa Mercy-one,ER,

Is treated like crap by HR,

After hip surgery this summer she asked to use a walker they placed her on temporary disability with all sorts of bells times ring to return to work,

Penny until her hop surgery had had two bouts of Covid,

Kept working,

On disability Penny had to survive on 75% less pay,

HR took all Penny’s built up sick,

Then the last week Oenny fir the third time got Covid,

HR knew she had it called her in to work,

Penny nearing sixty never had a break in fifteen years,

She had to recertify with CPR,

Show she could subdue a mental patient,

And do a four hour test which included walking carrying objects across the floor from one end to the other,

This test is fir injuries on the job factory labor not secretaries,

But she had been mandated,

Workmanscomp sent Penny a bill for several thousand dollars ,

Penny knew she hadn’t been hurt physically on the job,

But the bitch just kept tossing stuff at Penny to complete,

Then they took her overtime,

Still Penny works 4 days one week three days the next for a day off,

It’s fourth miles to and home,

She usually has to park in the end of the parking structure and walk in on her walker then change to her cane,

Penny was the only secretary who had to jump through ropes to keep her job,

She was told she can’t use a chair to restock things not restocked in the morning,

The other secretaries refused to do the test,

No one wrote them up,

Yep Penny never got one holiday to spend with her mom the HR bitch made her work [Thanksgiving,Christmas and New Year Friday,Saturday,Sunday and Monday night,

Last paycheck the hospital took out $300 owed on Penny’s hip surgery and she’s homeless,

The housing her mom lives in said she doesn’t qualify because she isn’t old enough!

I was disabled at fifty survived being struck second time with a car,

The disability lady at Mercy One looked it up all Penny needed to get in was to be homeless,
