What a mom!

Penny’s mom is eighty-seven years old,

Little lady,

I did kitty chores then followed Penny back to Oelwein in the fog last night,

I thought I was needed,

Penny’s mom had gone up her houses steep railerless until the top stairs in Penny’s house of one hundred and twenty year old ,

When I was up there in December I had see what at the top of the stairs three cat boxes,

Penny’s dear sweet mom who calls me Val,

Cause that’s my name,

Went up and carried them down,

Filled the large garbage can,

Told Penny she was unable to drag can to the curb,

That’s where old Val was to be of use full,

I like having a purpose it’s what I did for family and others,

I’m slow but I rock at at least trying to assit.

I arrived can on curb,

I called Penny,

I said Penny,

Penny said it before I could,

‘Cans on corner!’

I said who did it?

Penny said mom just told me she did.

Never too old for super human strength powered by motherly love.
