Thirty four years

Blissful,

Full of love,

Nary a harsh word,

Together working,

Together through fun times,

Sickness and health until,

Until Covid kept this life of love apart,

These two women,

Love at first site,

Ruth and her lady,

Lived in Suncity I beg pardon if that’s two words,

Covid separated these loves,

This partnership she thinks,

I believe they are still one,

One on the side lines supporting and near,

Seen and unseen,

Squelched one within one,

Two hearts that beat as one,

Ruth feels cheated by happen stance,

Her lady passed and Ruth physically not at her side,

I disagree these ladies were Christian,

Spent a life in love,

That is something this melancholy poet always sought,

If that in love surely one without the other still holds the other in a deep everlasting embrace.

Forever her lady will wait to hold Ruth to her because Ruth’s lady love is her home.

I see myself as lucky I found a terrific lesbian’s life road.
