Finally, the winter I recall

We are going to be in a winter storm watch,

Weather people say nine am the ninth to three am the tenth,

They are never on time,

More like tomorrow afternoon to after noon on the tenth,

Was Burr cold today,

I had gone out in my t-shirt instead of my coat,

Had a spirals cut ham, two gallons of milk,bag of potatoes and a bag of cat crunches,

It’s four fifty now,

Will go to Walmart about sevenish,

We Iowan’s shop before a storm,

And I have five baby kitten to put in their resting spots.

Then home, I’ll come still, hoping Penny will see the trailer before she loses it.
