Two weeks ago,
Lilly delivered thought she had five
All lived two days,
Honey stold one,
I took her back,
I could have swore I heard a kitten under my chair,
Kitties go under there,
Just now,
Just a moment ago,
When I returned to my chair,
I looked down,
Upon the floor at first I thought it was a tea bag,
Then I briefly thought it was poop,
It was neither,
That lone cry!
Was a babies last hope,
I placed the baby in clean sock,
The spirit roams with his sisters and brothers here,
My heart is ripped open,
How can I trust that calico not to kill others,
Wandering off with those precious babies,
