So, I got call this morning,
Grogging like a froggieI returned the call,
Asked that stupid question like always,
“DIDN’T YOU LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE!’
No like like a groggy mouse I say!
Penny says I’m sick we can’t go!

Then I’d just take my kitties home to Waukon Veterinarian get the boys fixed and my five girls,
Penny’s really worried about her crappy F ing job,
Last Thursday , she could not stand or wrap her ,
So, of course, Mercy One, the uncaring health institute , wrote her up for not being at work,
Ice and snow and the one night of horrendous fog,
Wrote up for not wanting to die!
And when her uncle died a week from her aunt, she was consoling her eighty-seven year old mom who just lost her only brother,
Her job secretary in ER,
Not a nurse,
Not an MD,
An ER secretary who works seven to three am,
Sleeps in parking garage ,
Sixty years have no heat in the car,
Doesn’t want to die driving home in the dark driving home at three,
Before she had her hip replaced this past summer, they had her for years working.twelve hour days,
She was her houses breadwinner!
Her louser husband decided he was an invalid so smoked and drank while Penny worked to care for her daughter and lame ass husband who died way to young with HIV gotten from a transfusion,
Misdignost because her husband didn’t fit the profile for Aides,
And of course not one Iowan lawyer could be bother to help this hard working disabiled mom,grandma,daughter,
She is homeless and sure the crappy ass catholic hospital can’t.wait.to illuminate this pagan ring wearing a good-hearted woman whose Christmas present from Catholic Hospital Mercy One was.no.time.holiday off!
She worked Thanksgiving,Christmas and.New Years had no family time,
Penny owed $130 on her hip surgery, so naturally, Mercy One took three hundred dollars,
Her house kitchen ceiling partially fell in December twenty-seventh,
For two years she.has.had no furnace,
Christmas day in her little Iowan town, we experienced the coldest Christmas of my sixty-five years it was ten below with only electric heaters, I stayed with her pets so they would not freeze to death!
Help her someone they treat her worst then criminal,

A fighter for underdogs ,
Who walk with a cane,
In twenty-twenty one, she suffered Covid twice,
This past summer, after her hip surgery and having worked the last five years on a cane asked ‘can I work on a walker until my.hip is healed!’
Next day they placed her on temporary disability with sevrnty-fuve less her salary!
Took as her stored up sick leave,
Restricted her to returning to work unless several demands were met!
None of the other ER secretaries had to comply!
Penny had to requalify to take down mental patient’s,
She was certified!
Requalify with CPR,
Certified!
Take a four hour exam factory workers have to certify for , to return to the factory or warehouse after an injury,
She was sent a bill for several thousand dollars because she hadn’t been injured, and workman’s comp could not figure out why she had taken the test,
Then, for the third time, she got Covid,
She was called back to work on the fifth day after being ill,
And she went,
