I had left Ruths door to her cage open all night,
I had become wobbly,
See I was all done in,
Fed, moved, checked on all,
Arrived home at midninght,
Did my two hours’ worth of chores,
Had hit my wall,
Ruth wanted out for a bit,
I sat down & fell nearly immediately asleep,
This morning, as I rose, I feared for the babies,
They were all well and safe in their kennle,
Then I chance to see two tails,
I rose, It’s not like when I was twelve, that was fast,
Upon reaching the cage there she is again my Lady,
Snuggled up on the kittens to Ruth,
Not politely, I remove her,
This wee family is moving to Pretty Bird’s room,
Have to go Walmart for food and cat stuff,
It’s lovely cool just now,
Penny said it had gotten to eighty-nine in Waterloo, Iowa, yesterday to collect her medications,
How odd made it to only eighty three in Quasqueton,Iowa,
The babies are precious,
