I hear a squeak,
Up I get,
Grandma Val on parol,
Check the babies,
All are disturbed,
All go zooming down the dark hall with grandma Val yelling,
‘Out of my way!’
Like a derranged ambulance,
I got to check the babies,
With each reajust,
Mom moves
It really totaled Lilly out having five,
The first two started this morning,
The first woke me,
Screaming bloody murder,
I fugured it was Pretty bird,
No,not Pretty,
A kitten on the floor by the book cupboard,
Alive with bag attached,
I lifted the baby with care,
Zoomed to my office
Cut the cord,
When I returned to the kitchen,
Mom and another baby were on the chair,
I took the two kittens back to in my hand to the doggie kennle kitty mother room,
Made a bed,
Laid them in,
Zoomed back to the kitchen,
Shit! No, Damn!
Lilly was in the back of a cupboard next to the floor ,
Falling is easier then being sixty five and getting on to the floor!
So I schunged down,
Then had to low crawl on my stomach to the cupboard,
You never have Alice or the madhatter when you need them,
Fortunately Lilly was on one of mom’s brown fuzzy rugs I placed in there in April,
I pulled her out,
No action had taken place,
Lilly had used bad kitty language to me as I removed her then closed the door,
Quick as a rabitt,
More like a turtle I was on my feet,
I took her to the girls room,
No kittens,
So I bellard,
Sadie!
I heard the babies,
Sadie had tried to pull the kittens free,
They were fine,
I put mom in with the babies and left her for a bit,
A short time later I returned there were three still in sacks behind her i cleared the face of all three set one in front of mom and zoom to the washer,
Grab a hand towel with warm water and it and beat back to Lilly,
She has cleaned up the one,
I cleaned up the other two,
It was no good,
Their precious hearts never stirred,
I have laid them where rest two other baby kittens,
Every sound I was near mom and her three
Lady’s is in Pretty Bird’s room with Dauphne,
I hope this time she fares better too,
The.first time at motherhood Lilly lost all five,
Lady lost three the whole experience was beyond traumatic,
You should once hear the male cat service the female,
You would hear the pain,
You might stop to pounder the why you thought female cats were ok with having litter after litter until death!
I have no trust of humanity,
If I were working with money coming in and not at the meecy of a less then full price clinic my boys would all be fixed even kittens,
I don’t want any of my cats going to homes unfixed,
The I hope to get my non profit next month and be Val’s Rescue,
