Gay in rural America,

My community,

Its ,

It wasn’t like depicted,

My dad told my cousins I was retared ,

Because I dated no male,

It wasn’t families who loved us,

Who understood we were gentle,

Goodhearted,

Tender and compassionate,

We didn’t change we look the same,

Sang the same,

Our hearts still beat like yours,

You give value to others treated harshly America non Americans,

You shrug your shoulders and keep rights from us!

We are all colors ,

We are your families,

It was a lovely program,

Surgar coated like club 216 in Charlotsville,VA,

We were not allow to post Gay only,

People love getting there rocks off watching LGBTQ,

Funny, we are not good enough for Equal Housing in 2005 in Virginia

But we are good enough to watch,

It pisses me off that in 2023 we havr no buttons that idenify us,

I’m female,

Soft butch ,

Iowa out poet, podcast and youtuber ,

It wasn’t easy being Gay in rural Iowa
