That dark December night I returned to Quasqueton,Iowa, with Pretty bird twenty-seven years old(two years older then the adverage bird lives,healthy and volcal with a vell he loves),
One box turtle thirty-seven years old Penny says when plants are concerned she has a black thumb,
We gave the box turtle to Rolling Thunder, a wildlife santuary.We were not aware that box turtles were not alloted to be pets they are protected now.
And I had[Boots,Ling Ling,Lewis,Dauphney,Ruth,Jasmin, Honey,Dude,Loo Loo],

January came Chester and Lewus were to get Fixed,Chester was easy ketch not Lewis,so off to the Humane Alliance we went in Cedar Rapids with Honey and Jasmin and Chester,
Honey’s cafe fell aoart in my hands she was gone,
It was misting,
Penny’s heart was broke,
I was sure I’d never get home,
Took the Alliance two weeks live trapping to hetch Honey,
All three were fixed,
Two months later,.
Lots of food, never enough litter,
Not enough cat pans,
With Petes help all ate,
Lot more wash when worms are passing through the system,
More washs there I imagines with a lane ass land lirds smart meter recording every drop that goes through our pipes here at the park. Will be checking on that at the Quasqueton City hall tomorrow.I was timid today,
Well, we had kittens,
Penny had given Lilly away to a mentle gian who sucked at being a human and pet parent. Lilly was malnutrient she lost all her babies,
Penny my cat had five lost one,
Neighbor lady brought me three kittens and a young cat,Snuggler and Precious had five a piece, Sadie wanted babies was not blessed so adopted,Lady was last she was.so very scared,
Two of her five we saved when I say we I mean the momma cats and me, ten perrished. Little one I really loved Pete had rescued from his front porch, my little Rosa Parks,
One night I returned.from getting kitty food ,
This spring, Penny and I had gone diwn to Dubuque to pick up a free cat house our kittes loved it, The brief time I was gone one of my babies got a piece of nylon around his neck and couldn’t,I didn’t think twice as I chucked that goddamn piece of shit out on my porch!
Anytime I step into rescue an animal, it’s only for the life form and what’s in my heart.

I will specialize in females needing a safe place to give birth and then get her and the babies fixed for finding homes and older animals when their humans are forced into nursing homes to die without their best friends,older animals are put yo sleep,
Penny is a rescuer,I wish someone would give her a good paying job she could do at home,she is secretary of the ER at Mercy One,Waterloo,Iowa,has had no break going on sixteen years is sixty now my personal adopted sister,
Penny has been homeless living in the horrid Oelwein Motel since December 2022 at $315 a week,

Penny asked if she could work on a walker until her hip healed the HR placed Prnny on temporary disability at seventy-five percent less salery. I looked into it employers can take fifty- percent Penny had been wotking twelve hour days. Penny had to jump through hoops to keep her job.
A job Penny rocks at but makes fifteen an hour.Penny has worked.everyday she was fourteen. Penny Taylor Martin had to recertify for CPR,show dhe.could take down a nentle patcient and then certify she was ready to return to work with a stress test[the.kind injured factory or dock workers have to take begir returning to work.]
During 2021, she had. Covid twice,well this summer she had it for the third time,the day she was over her quarenteen the nasty slut of a Head of human services called her back to work.Penny called lawyer offices for help but Iowa is chuck full of no accounts afraid of the catholuc church. Its amazing any of those abused people were able to get justice! Not one if the other four secretaries were mandated to do what she had to do to return to work.
For two years, Penny had no furnace. She works seven nights in a row for one night off many weeks Penny. l works on strong drugs to stand and work. That four hour stress test Penny had to take Workman’s comp refused to pay for because she was not injured on the job. She was by hr. STILL IS!
Hr had her work all three holidays.Her mom is.eighty seven. None of Thanjsgiving, Christmas, or New Years was even a turkey leg shared. The hospital took $400 of that holiday pay. Penny owed $130 left on her.hip surgery.
