Not poverty stricken nobody,
Don’t look down your nose at me,
Made more money last year then in all my life,
Made four hundred selling used books,
Made over three hundred this year,
Not rolling in dough, but I’m trying,
Got two beautiful cats on my lap,
This moment I’m content,
Conscern,
A bit worried but not out!
Not using a fucking goverment phone,
Not on food stamps,
Not from a generation on welfare,
Not wealthy with lots of food,
My goals are different from yours,
Content is darn close to happy,
Got a lot of work to do coming up,
Got to have money coming in,
Fix my jome,
Have heat,
Fix my car,
Work toward nonprofit,
Older animal santuary[[OAS]],
Money doesn’t make the world go round,
Nor make it content,
Love does that, and a little poetry
