I have a need,
get the crock pot out,
The biggest,
Nicest crock had to be stored away,
The little stool for feet I had placed by the kitchen window,
Lewis and Lady would share sitting on it,
Evidently in another life they were human and not cats,
They would crap there,
I chucked out the stool,
And rescued from the bin,
Saved it at the back of my porch,
Found in the Cadillac of crock pots,
Nearly two inches of pee,
After a good scrubbing I stowed it away,
I’m stewing up chicken and veg,
The house will smell yummy all day,
Nicest part of a hot pot,
No one will sit on it to pooh and pee,
Someone will lay upon it,
They are Not dumb!
Dumb referred to animals inability to talk,
Small animals talk your head off if they need something now,
Like food out of the orange five gallon pail,
