Sweet potatoes ,Yams and white potatoes(if interested see link below)

last week I was visiting like I do every night with a sister of choice. I adopt people and I adopted her her name is Ruth Lanning she lives in Sun City Arizona. I totally enjoy my time talking to her so nice to talk 8 hours everybody should have a confidant.

We were talking about love of sweet potatoes and how they’re 50 cents now at Walmart. And as we usually do one way or another we decided we contact Google and ask the benefits of sweet potatoes and if dogs can have them.

Google to our amazement taught us a thing or two as Google usually does. We found out that yes sweet potatoes are very beneficial for dogs they need to be cooked first which is only right because a hard potato is hard and no one would want to eat it and that was my opinion.

Ruth is more well she’s older than I am by 6 years and she questions my validity on different subjects from time to time. So of course I naturally assumed that she would and she goes have you ever tried to raw potato. I said a raw potato. she said she said yes a raw potato!

I said no who would try a raw potato. She said they’re very good for you so we went to Google so we could ask why would the potato have to be cooked if they’re good for you raw. Sweet potatoes might be good for you as a human raw but for dogs they’re easier to consume and last to call less likely to cause any difficulty if they’re cooked.

We found articles and they were interesting said that sweet potatoes were very beneficial for your dog good and potassium as well as fiber & more fiber than you would imagine very little cholesterol they shouldn’t be given a lot to your dog cuz they could cause your dog to dog to have diarrhea and no one wants that.

Then we decided we wanted to know about yams so once again we inquired of Google what about yams are they also beneficial to your dogs. We found that yes yes, your dogs not as good as sweet potatoes.

then I proceeded to learn yet further that sweet potatoes are usually smaller than yams and always less stringy. I always question what the difference was and never knew now I knew. surely you too have found that some and you assume they’re all sweet potatoes they’re not yams come from Africa and sweet potatoes are from America interesting huh?

Sweet potatoes are not to begin into your cats cuz your cats are meat eaters and shouldn’t eat even vegetables which I find is really silly if your dog can eat vegetables and it is also a carnivore evidently cats are more so.

Yams I’m supposed to be cooked I just thought I’d share that.
