Cleaning kitty boxes.Standing pike a horse shoe then straight up without nose diving to my gross carpet.Made gross by my good deed.
On the twenty seventh of last year,December a dear friend’s home that had,had no furnace for two years,pipes froze and the upstairs toilet cracked. Then if that was not bad enough part of her ceiling fell in, in the kitchen sort of over the fridge.Wires and pipes were exposed.
My friend works all night as the Mercy One’s hawk in Waterloo,Iowa,seven pm -three am. On Christmas day twenty twenty two , I had stayed at her home it was ten below inside.I was there to make sure none of her family died while she was gone.
Electric blankets turn off after four hours. I stayed so her ten cats and a bird and turtle and her dog did not freeze.
What’s a Hawk and a human?Well this Hawk is the head of housekeeping at night from 7pm to three am. Hawks know where all empty hospital beds are and what air lifts to call when needed.
The great migration took place on or about the twenty-eigthth of December. I drove her cats all but four I had to trap the last four to remove them from the house. Gave the box turtle to Rolling Thunder,animal rescue outside of Independence,Iowa.Its against the law to have box turtles.
We have taken fourteen to Dubuque Humane Shelter I plan in time to rescue back a few after Christmas and I can pay Alliant Energy. I have eight to go.Its getting harder,I love them so very much.
