Colors

Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

Wore my countries colors twice,

United States Army 1977-,

United States Marine Corps 1984-,

I’ve called upon today,

A little less sure,

A little more wobbly,

I would pick up M- 16,

And March off to war,

One goal in mind only,

Protect those I love with my life,

Stand with my flag,

me for me that’s what Americans do,

For me my family have been in uniform since American revolution,

The last number of my family served was in Vietnam,Wayne Lovitt,

Wayne like his dad was in the Navy,

it’s a lot of pride tied up and wearing a uniform,

There’s no Pride in getting your daddy to get you out because you got always on your feet that may or may not be imagined,
