Sweet as can be,
Little grey and white kitten,
Not moving this afternoon ,
I held him,
I cried,
Thought he had died,
Placed him in a plastic bag then he moved,
I ripped it open,
Held him close to my heart again,
Near death,
Once more I placed him in a bag,
About to take him out back,
Place him with others I loved,
I hate I had set his small frame in the trash bin,
Briefly he honored my existence,
My love held his spiritual being,
My tears fell upon his small cheek,
