What is your favorite restaurant?
The Black Bear in Loretta Wisconsin,
Uncle Norm at the cabin it’s just always say I’ll eat whatever you catch that was great,
The Heike gang ,the whole family would pile into our two long station wagons and off we go eight miles to Loretta Wisconsin,
Each car we play a game how many animals can you see,
when I was a kid would see 60 deer just that 8 mi to Loretta Wisconsin,
could I hit 50 you could barely see one deer of course by then Uncle Norm and cousin and and Rebecca no longer were with us ,
When I was a kid, Loretta Wisconsin, consist of The Outpost with Dolly and Woodward they had the best ice cream and the best food and right next door was a black bear bar and on Friday night we all go to town for fish,
It’s 5:30 a.m. tears are cresting my baby blues,
Remembering all the minutes and the moments for those wonderful times and those are not so wonderful times it’s hard being gay in the family that you’re always just Val,
Today the restaurant is Wolfies Quasqueton, Iowa the food is all good I live in his great pizza and Wolfie’s nacho,
Nothing will ever too in my memory of my cousins and our family cabin and the moment spent in their company,
