How do you unwind after a demanding day?
Xena with my sister,
Over Facebook chat,
Ruth’s in Arizona,
I’m in Iowa,
With a cat on my lap,
And one of her dogs on hers,
Toward the end of the night,
I close my eyes,
Like tonight,
Life is short ,
I try not to miss anytime with Ruth,
Ruth didn’t pick me,
I get up about four am usually,
I don’t always take a nap,
By two am I’m waining,
I vanish from Xena about there,
Ruth said what am I going to do with you,
I said I’m the only one you have so nothing,
Not every day you pick the best people in your life to be family,
Ruth didn’t pick me I picked her,
Before we get to the end of the evening,
I will have had two cups of hot tea,
Yogurt if I have it,
And peanuts,
When Ruth says good night ,
I come here,
I read the young people who write,
If I have somebody to say I say it,
Which is better than what I did as a child,
I always felt that I had nothing worthy to say because I was put down a lot,
I don’t speak as a child I speak as me with an opinion and a voice to know that my opinion does count,
I believe I need to squeeze as much as I can out of each day,
That’s what I do,
Relaxing you say,
Sometimes most time just living is a chore that I endeavor to do well one day,
My writing, and blogging, and business is selling books,
Is equivalent to the short time I get to spend with Ruth,
No one in my life will ever be as valuable,
I envy Mickey,
She really got the best girl,
But I get to call her sister,
Good night all,
