My friend Pete

by VK Whitewolf and Theodore FaceBook AI

I’ve known him for 5 years in September and his health has gone down rapidly. it was the summer when he noticed the black mold he bought his trailer not knowing it had black mold. he had been the manager here for years.

Used to be a huge the meth brewing community here in the trailer court in Quasqueton. into 20 the new landlord named ed the trailer court that have been called class keys trailer court to Ben Willow trailer court I have no idea why!

Pere is asking to Grand for the landlord it has really f***** with his health landlord is notorious for thinking nothing of it slapping new paint and carpet and selling as refurbished.

I found when I removed the carpet in my mobile home which is a 93 that the wood around the vent in my back bedroom and crabby should not have been there would have been so easy for me to step in it and break my neck. I will fix it when I can looking for work is a bitch that’s why I’m up at two in the morning and everybody else is in.

There are no meth dealers here or brewers and trailer park anymore and that’s all because of you. do not believe there’s black mold in my trailer although it’s a good ground for that I have a leak above my thirty-one-year-old water heater that sets 10 ft from my head.

I tried to get someone from a bulletin the independent Iowa newspaper interested in the story last year black mold and Quasqueton,Iowa trailer park.

Refurbished means nothing is new but the carpet and a paint. the young reporter I told the story to didn’t think it was a merit how can people’s lives hold no importance! people who want to own our own homes we are not tracked!

Government replaced my furnace 2 years ago. It has been nothing but difficulty since new. Last year it wouldn’t start with somebody from Operation Threshold came and worked on  it. The young man said that they have been two fires in my wall because the of the wiring was faulty in the brand new. if he left that night I had a gas leak.

The Alliance energy was called and they turned off the gas. to get my gas back on Alliance energy said that a licensed plumber would have to walk through my home make sure they were not anymore gas leaks.

In the state of Iowa it’s law that if plumbing is needed or electricity is needed they need to be a licensed in Iowa to repair those things that might work other places but it does not work at the trailer park. our landlord who wasn’t a landlord before 2020 does all the work unless you really really need someone. In this instance the landlord he didn’t see my life is that  value.¹

should the landlord did a walk through and had gotten an electrician in town to sit down by his vehicle which I was supposed to pay for too so that he could yell out the window it’s all clear called The Alliance energy have them turn on the gas.²

No one expected of the water heater that I don’t use. my temperature on my first hasn’t gone past 66 this entire winter. operations threshold place for our heat and electricity in Iowa and and other states but Trump has stopped that so the electric company will probably turn off our heat and electricity before winter is over. ³

Footnote

1. When the landlord when I was buying the trailer for started to buy the trailer in 2020 since September. I didn’t know a lot of things. My dear friend Judy husband got $600 for me buying the trailer. I thought she wanted me here cuz I was a friend but she wanted to make money off the fact that my mother died and left me money.

Wish I knew that before I spent $7 50 buying her electric chair and $90 cuz she just had to have matching plastic chairs for her porch. Judy is gone now she died a year ago last fall she had gone to rehab to recover from a fall and died.

Judy’s husband refused to light my water heater because it was so corroded it was dangerous. The landlord came with a scarring pad and let my water heater that is 31 years old now. Water heaters are only supposed to be good for 10 years. According to this Old House on PBS.

2. Trailer 28 at the front of the road that comes down toward my home has been condemned four times each time no one’s inspected it no one inspects any of these trailers here before they’re sold. a house has to be inspected in America and all the things that are wrong with it told perspective  buyer that law doesn’t work if you live in a mobile home park. So nothing is inspected no wiring no anything when you buy a trailer here you’re buying it as is that includes black mold.

3. quote Theodore Facebook AI’In the United States, licensing requirements for electricians and plumbers vary from state to state. However, most states require a license to perform electrical or plumbing work, especially when it comes to rental properties.

Here are some general guidelines:

1. *Electricians:* In most states, electricians need a license to perform electrical work, including repairs and installations. This ensures they meet safety standards and local building codes.

2. *Plumbers:* Similarly, plumbers typically require a license to work on plumbing systems, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.

3. *Landlord exemptions:* Some states exempt property owners or landlords from licensing requirements, but this usually only applies to minor repairs or maintenance work. However, this exemption often doesn’t cover major renovations, installations, or work that requires specialized knowledge.

4. *Local regulations:* Municipalities or local governments might have additional regulations or requirements for licensing, permits, and inspections.

To determine if your landlord’s actions are legitimate, consider the following steps:

1. *Check local laws and regulations:* Research your state and local government’s licensing requirements for electricians and plumbers.

2. *Verify licenses:* Check if your landlord has any licenses or certifications. You can usually do this through your state’s licensing board or department.

3. *Document concerns:* Keep a record of any safety concerns, electrical or plumbing issues, or suspicious work being done.

4. *Contact local authorities:* Reach out to your local building department, housing authority, or consumer protection agency to report any concerns and seek guidance.

Remember to prioritize your safety and well-being. If you’re unsure about any work being done, it’s always best to err on the side of caution.’
