If you buy a house the previous house owner needs to have that house inspected and you are told everything that is wrong with that house.
This is 2025 and mobile homes are still classified as trailers for activities like traveling and camping.
Mobile homes are not mobile they are homes they’re built differently and they’re not wood or brick or mortar but they’re still homes!
Everyone wants and everybody deserves their own their own home and not live in someone’s idea of what apartment is.

I live in Quasqueton Iowa trailer park. most trailers here mobile homes not trailers have black mold. trailer 15 was found to have a ceiling full of it last year but the owner of that mobile home is a friend of mine Pete Veratney. by fall Peter was on oxygen. Peter had three Boston terriers he loved to play with them.
Most nice afternoon summer evenings he would be out there wrapping around with his dogs. Until! when repairing something in his ceiling he found he had tons and tons of black mold! black mold is as toxic as an asbestos.
Pete’s Health continue to decline he died two weeks ago. my neighbor Teresa had moved him in to her mobile home 16 at $400 a month lot rent is $370.
For seven months Teresa’s trailer sixteen sat empty. didn’t stop the landlord from charging for trash and for his smart meter which he charges seven dollars a month. that’s wrong no one was living there no one was producing trash no one’s using water no one had sewage there instead of the three hundred and thirty everybody else is charged plus are trash and sewage mine comes to five hundred and thirty.
Eighty-four dollars a year for the smart meter that’s put on all our homes cost us the tenant those of us who live either by our homes like I am or renting or owning. Landlord continues to paint and put a new carpet in trailer 28 that has been officially condemned four times. The landlord always got one after another tenant in there and to me that is as if he had sex and had HIV with a thousand people.!
The landlord confesses nothing inspects nothing and his wife does all the business so she charges whatever she wants.
My neighbor Teresa as most of the town are Republicans I know all about the things that you want to say about them cuz I say them too. you aren’t allowed to talk politics with them cuz they have been indoctrinate into the theory that anybody who’s not a republican is a liar.
Even Teresa thinks that he’s wrong and selling and renting trailers he knows to be death killers but it’s all about the power and important buck. Teresa’s mother passed away in August she had cared for her mother since 2005.
Teresa’s sister lives directly across the court refused to assist her in cremating their mother she has a job at Walmart Teresa’s on Social Security Teresa makes $1500 a month in order to cremate their mother that was $2,000. of $2,000 . Teresa who pays lot rent on two trailers. Lot rent includes lot rent only. The sewage and the trash are added on plus the $7 a month for the landlord smart meter.
She is only had a renter in her trailer at the end of this month for a month. so her bill should have been in August 375 + 320 + 14=$704 but landlady the wife of the landlord build $50 on both trailers for late fees. making her August bill $754. Teresa is late then according to my sister who I love with all my heart and says that the landlady is entitled to charge for that lot rent and $50 a month. Late fee on that 16 for August. But according to what’s right she had no business charging $375for trailer 16 since it did not have any tenant in it until March of this year.
I didn’t know if I should eat cuz I haven’t eaten today or if I should just take a but I want to do is go down and dig through the dumpster that’s sitting outside at Pete’s house I gave it a couple of arrowheads and I wanted to make sure it’s done took them instead of just left them there for trash. Teresa wants Pete’s barbecue cuz we had good food with it and why throw it away. I’d rather buy a new one.
Teresa wants Pete’s old barbecue , Pete loved to barbecue.It will not be the same as having Pete with us he was truly a sweet and generous man, when I had no food which is 3 weeks of a month he would loan me money he didn’t expect and watch back so I could get food.
I can’t find work I spend hours gaming so that I can buy cat food and maybe a bag of chips for me . I want to change the law I want people to be seen as homeowners that live in mobile homes. I want our rights to matter and I want people to stop thinking of trailers and people live in them as trash. We’re not living on the streets we are trying to buy our own homes. We deserve everybody’s respect. And then we’ll give it to you
