Yesterday after months and months of fudging money given to the landlord for my friend Teresa’s second mobile home,
The land lord’s wife who in September after Teresa’s mom passed and Teresa fell a month behind in rent offered Teressa fifteen grand,
the landlord’s wife made no mention to her husband that she wanted Teresa’s trailer that you bought for $1,000 and put $22,000 worth of repairs in 1989 mobile home,
the landlord broke into Teresa’s home number 16 and told Theresa at her trailer in 27 that he wasn’t interested in paying 15,000 for her mobile home,
So landlords started attacking on late fee upon late fee upon late fee upon late fee she had $750 in August actually it wasn’t $750 yet,
Lot rent is 320, it’s like 27 for the garbage they take every week if the can is full and put out a lot of people since we’re all retired don’t have enough to fill a trash can so you don’t put it up we should get charged,
Recyclable goes every 2 weeks if you put it out, no one was in the trailer 16 there was no water electricity needed she was still paying for the water we don’t pay for the water per se Corey the landlord has water has water meters smart meters on all our homes which we pay every month seven dollars for so every year we pay $85 or something he put on her homes so he could charge us for every drop that goes down the pipes!
So they the landlords just clump the two together and made it 750 , I was just 375 a piece for each trailer one Teresa lived in one No one lived in but the landlord couple know better than ice charge the same fee it makes me wonder if her his wife is legal she’s from China,
So you have 750 in April it was 8 months so that’s 8 * 50 that’s 400 she comes to $1150,
So one day the last week well around the 19th that’s when Teresa gets her social security check the third Wednesday of the month because her last name is Snyder and it’s alphabetized I guess!
landlord Corey says you owe $3,000 back rent for your lots.
this is a bald-faced lie it means it’s a lie straight up sideways front ways backwards it’s a lie,
one day a couple months ago she told Teresa you owe $1,000 lot rent,
the very next day she added $900 to her bill,
they’re trying to bushwhack Teresa out of giving her trailer to them,
I listed the trailer which has all sorts of amenities on marketplace on Facebook we had 670 people interested in the trailer,
good Lord her priced 8,000 but then she was worried which you have enough would it be enough so she changed it she wanted 12,000,
I like Trisha she’s a trump lover which I hate and she took care of her mom for years she has really no common sense,
We couldn’t find anybody in the area who would stand up to this guy this pretty much slum your lord,
This one Teressa gave her gave the landlord $1,000 of her $1,400 that she gets a month to survive on,
Told them he she had to live on something and buy food and he just said okay whatever,
Teresa had signed that she would pay $3,000 late rent,
She felt trapped she was being coerced she’s hot she had no way out,
the landlady and landlord have done the same thing to others people do the work on their trailer can’t find anybody to buy it he contacted me told me to take down my ad for Teresa or he wouldn’t try to find a renter or a owner for it,
when Teresa told him I had six people interested in the mobile home he went ballistic to the roof,
The landlord said no no no no no no no no I can sell it for 19,000,
When I have paid off my home which is a 1994 I will have paid $20,000 for what he said was refurbished,
refurbished to the landlord means new carpet and new paint,
Most of the trailers here have black mold mine does not neither do Teresa’s too her trailer that she lives in is a 96 and the other trailer is a 89 that she had a new shower with a seat put in at new water heater and central air new furnace is the electric stove is going to have it has new carpet in Cory just ripped up a trunk one day she went over to her trailer he sees a big chunk of the trailer price going into his pocket,
Corey has no license he’s not a plumber he’s not an electrician.
last year when I had a gas leak he says we won’t call a plumber we were told by Alliance energy to call plumber a licensed plumber to walk through my home and make sure there’s no more gas leak,
Corey the landlord walk through my home found gas leak in the stove that I never wanted on and he finally turned that gas off he had the electrician in town Krass standing down by his car and went out of my porch yelled over it’s all clear and he called the Alliant Energy,
The gas was turned back on that was last March,
The landlord said it was okay because Alliance energy likes the electrician in quasqueton and that it was no big thing and I just would eventually pay the electrician $50 for standing by his car doing nothing, Nothing!
He inspects no trailer,
My power in my kitchen comes and goes,
That shouts me I have something wrong with my electricity I have never used my ceiling light in my bedroom,
I turned it on in September 2:20 Sparks we’re in there I called Pete he said turn the damn thing off I did.
Pete said I have a son who’s an electrician he can come and fix that for you, I never saw Pete’s son.
When I moved in my friend across the way who has passed a year ago in the fall her husband refused to light my water here that sits 10 ft from my head because it was too corroded it’s over 30 years old water hears are only supposed to be good for 10 we learned that from This Old House on PBS!
landlord Corey came with a scouring pad scoured off the burner did it anyway,
When I learned from my friend Judy that he had a brand new water heater on the back porch never came in,
Water heaters run $300 but now they have water heaters that sit on the inside they don’t have to be in the wall,
So yesterday on a piece of paper the landlord scrolled that he would give Teresa 22,000 with the improvements including a brand new roof,
And a brand new carpet that Corey ripped the chunk out of!
Here’s the plan in this crappy ass contract that I still think should go to a lawyer you’re my rooster so too I’m not wrong!
He will give Teresa 10000 but it’s on in cash! cuz his wife will take three or $2,500 off the top Trisha just gave them 1,000 but she still the landlady is still going to take 2500 off the top of this,
Leaving Teresa with $7500,
This is criminal in Iowa and a criminal anywhere in the world where poor people have the right to attorney because it seems like there are no attorneys in Independence that will help us my car needs work so it’s not going to get anywhere doesn’t go very far anyway,
Last year I tried to get a reporter interested in the story and the bulletin and Independence Iowa couldn’t be bothered the truth is an important enough truth isn’t interesting enough and poor people who cares I care we’re not trash because we want to buy our own homes and a mobile home park!
My Ruth is an interesting hearing about this she had already said take her to an attorney,
I thought being a good person was what Christianity demands!
Corey and his wife are self-proclaimed Christians but they treat nobody as equal!
Crap it’s 10:02 I have to be picking her up at 11:00 at 10:30 so we can go to the Post office and then into town to Walmart she needs to get stuff,
So the 7,500 according to Corey is going to come off in trade,
Trade doesn’t buy food,
Or pay taxes,
he’s going to let her have 2 years rent free on her lot rent,

I’m going to send this to the attorney general of Iowa on Monday,
Maybe someone will look into him and his non-accountant wife who does their books?
The landlord and his wife have been elder abusing elderly in the park for years,
