On the Nineteen fifties,

Agnes Kleeman Heike dad’s mom has eye surgery,

In a time alot of things no kne really understood,

Grandma went from legally blind to completely blind,

Mom sa I d the grandma I never git to know was the sweetest,

When company was coming Ulma Heintz would come from next door,

Hold grandma’s china in front of her so grandma would be able to feel the patterns,

Gatherings at the Paul and Agness Heike’s were all with one host dad’s mom,

Now grandma died when I was two,

On Nineteen sixty,

So much in eye surgery has changed in eighty three years,
